Terms of service
Last updated October 12, 2026
These terms are an agreement between FlowInherit (“FlowInherit”, “we”) and the organisation that connects a Microsoft 365 tenant to FlowInherit (“you”). The person who approves FlowInherit for your organisation, or chooses a plan, confirms they are allowed to accept these terms for it.
1. The service
FlowInherit reads your Microsoft 365 tenant to show what a departing user owns or can access, and, when you approve it, changes owners and permissions to hand those things to other people. The tenant snapshot and leaver scans are free. Handovers need a paid plan.
2. Your responsibilities
- Only connect a tenant your organisation controls, and only give access to people you trust to use it.
- Review each handover before approving it. FlowInherit makes the changes you approve, with the Microsoft permissions of the person who approves them.
- Keep your own records where your policies require them; FlowInherit's receipts and audit log help but don't replace them.
- Don't misuse the service: no attempts to reach another customer's data, overload the service, or get around its limits or billing.
3. Your data
Your tenant data stays yours. We use it only to provide FlowInherit to you, as described in our privacy policy, and we protect it as described on Trust and security.
4. Plans and payment
- Plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.
- Your plan is set by the number of enabled accounts in your tenant. If you grow past it, we may ask you to move to the right plan.
- Prices exclude taxes, which you pay where they apply.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. The change applies from your next billing month after that.
- If a payment fails, Stripe retries it. If it still fails, handovers are switched off until it is paid; scans keep working.
Cancellations and refunds are covered in our cancellation and refund policy.
5. Availability and changes
We work to keep FlowInherit available and to give notice of planned maintenance, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted. FlowInherit depends on Microsoft's services, and changes Microsoft makes can affect it. We may improve or change features; we won't remove a core feature you pay for without notice.
6. Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by cancelling your plan and removing the FlowInherit enterprise app from your tenant. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously broken, or with 30 days' notice for any other reason, in which case we refund any prepaid time you didn't use. After it ends, you can ask us to delete your data, as the privacy policy describes.
7. Disclaimer
FlowInherit is provided “as is”. Apart from what these terms say, we don't give warranties of any kind, including that it will find every item a person owns or be free of errors. You are responsible for deciding which changes to approve.
8. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or data, and our total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid FlowInherit in the 12 months before the claim.
9. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the US state where FlowInherit is registered, United States. If we change them in a way that matters, we will email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Questions: [email protected].
